Jordan Reading grew up at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains in West Jordan, Utah. As the youngest of six children Jordan enjoyed spending time hiking, skiing, and camping with his family and friends. As a teen, he excelled in the arts. By his senior year of high school he had become an accomplished pianist, an award-winning sculptor, and national champion clog dancer.
Jordan received his undergraduate education at Brigham young University during which time her served a two-year service mission in the Kansai region of Japan. He developed a love for Japanese language and culture and upon returning worked as a Japanese language instructor while completing a degree in Exercise Science. During his undergraduate training he made time to satisfy his artistic interest by performing as a member of BYU Men’s chorus and working as a pianist for the ballet department.
Dentistry proved to be a perfect combination of the disciplines Jordan most loved, art and science. In 2019 he graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry where he found that he felt most at home in the pediatric department working with children and their families.
After graduating from dental school, Jordan worked for two years as a dentist at a pediatric clinic serving families in Milwaukee. He has since enjoyed continuing his training as a resident in NYU Langone’s Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry residency program since 2021. Jordan is thrilled to be continuing his career serving children and their families in Raleigh, North Carolina, starting this summer.
