My Name is Chithu Abraham. I graduated from Rajiv Gandhi Unviresity of Health Sciences , India in 2009 with a Bachelors in Dental Surgery. The idea of becoming a dentist impacted me at a very young age, my earliest recollection to the field of dentistry was when I saw a positive replica of my teeth at the orthodontist office. This along with my natural inclination to work with my hands and artistic ability was the start of my dental interest. Forming objects of function, using manual dexterity and the manipulation of matter fascinated me. Over the past few years, I was able to work as a limited license dentist for the Fitchburg Community Health Connections in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. During my time at the HealthCenter, I was able to work in several capacities, most notably with the “Caring for Kids” outreach program where I was able to provide dental care to an underserved population. Through this program, I witnessed a great need for early preventive care and the need for more dental awareness.
Currently I am a 2nd Year Pediatric Dental Resident in Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
