Dr. Ivey Agee Wainwright DDS is a 2nd year pediatric dental resident with NYU Langone-Tucson, Arizona. She received her bachelors of science at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL in 2011. In 2015, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. With a desire to learn more about the field of dentistry and improve her skill set, she applied for and was accepted into an NYU Langone Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Maricopa Integrated Health Systems in Phoenix, Arizona. MIHS has since been rebranded to Valleywise Health. While in her AEGD she developed a love for pediatric dentistry that led to a rewarding 5 years of working with pediatric patients at various dental clinics that served predominantly medicaid, immigrant, and underserved populations. Wanting to continue to improve her skills and knowledge base to help as many children as possible, she applied to pediatric dental residency and was accepted in NYU Langone-Tucson, AZ at El Rio Health. Dr. Wainwright has a passion for serving underserved populations and hopes to continue to work in public health for the remainder of her career.
