Kate has many years of experience in dental practice acquisition and new practice development and management. Along with her MBA, Kate now has over thirty years of experience in corporate finance, business management, and entrepreneurship. She brings a deep perspective on market analytics, capital formation, business growth, and operational development. In 2016, she co-founded Vardiman Black, which specialized in supporting pediatric, endodontic, and orthodontic practices. She is also a co-founder of Dental Specialty Education, a Pediatric Dental Residency training program located in Nashville, TN. She teaches dental practice management as part of the NYU Langone Dental Medicine postdoctoral residency program. She is also the author and principal instructor of the Practice Ownership Formula, a comprehensive training program designed specifically to move female dentists confidently into practice ownership. Prior to her focus in the dental field, she worked for ten years as a business profitability consultant for middle-market businesses through her own firm, Business On Point. For this, Kate worked alongside company founders and CEOs as a fractional CFO and business strategist that focused on developing financial literacy, streamlining business operations, and improving financial performance.
