When a patient is treated under general anesthesia, they lose all of their protective reflexes. If proper care is not taken to assure the patient is positioned properly, the child can undergo pressure lesions or neurological damage. The speaker will discuss potential complications that can occur while a patient is under general anesthesia and how to prevent them.
