Pulp Therapy
Purpose: The aim of this in-vitro study is to investigate the smear layer removal and antibacterial efficacy of 0.2% Chitosan Nano-Particle, QMix and Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl) Combined with 17% Ethylene-diamine-tetra-acetic acid (EDTA) as a final irrigating solution in primary teeth.
Method: Extracted primary teeth will be randomly divided into three groups based on three chosen irrigants; group I –0.2% Chitosan Nanoparticle, group II- QMix, group III- Sodium Hypochlorite combined with 17% EDTA. After the final irrigation, antibacterial efficiency of irrigants in eliminating E Faecalis will be evaluated, whereas amount of smear layer removal will be assessed using scanning electron microscope.
Results: Results will be drawn after statistical analysis.
Conclusion: Conclusion will be made after analysis of result.
