In-office aligners has been gaining wide popularity in the past few years, yet, orthodontists are still doubtful about the transition from outsourcing their aligners to aligners producing companies into production of aligners in their office. This conversion was made simpler by conducting a series of clinical researches with solid aligners biomechanical concepts in order to demonstrate the teeth movement with in-office aligners. In this presentation we will present a comparison between in-office aligners and conventional brackets for maxillary canine retraction in terms of efficiency, time and cost compared to outsourced aligners.
Learning Objectives:
After this lecture, attendees will be able to:
Illustrate the efficiency of in-office aligners for individual maxillary canine retraction.
Demonstrate aligners biomechanical concepts and attachments for maxillary canine retraction.
Compare the efficacy of in-office aligners versus conventional brackets for maxillary canine retraction.
