Molar intrusion using skeletal anchorage can improve not only overbite but also chin deficiency by counterclockwise mandibular rotation. Even normal overbite and deep overbite patients with chin deficiency can be treated using total arch intrusion to improve retrognathic profile. Dr. Jung would like to explain about the related anatomical, biomechanical and esthetic factors for total arch intrusion treatment. Overbite, overjet, compensatory extrusion, incisal showing and smile arc need to be considered.
