Airway and obstructive sleep apnea have gained widespread attention amongst orthodontists. Airway related issues have a complex underlying physiology and the recent studies have shed some light on this complex problem. This lecture will focus on the complex etiology and diagnosis of airway related problems, and the role of an orthodontist in managing these patients.
