Bassam M. Kinaia, DDS, MS, DICOI

Dr. Kinaia received his dental degree (DDS) and Certificate and Master of Science (MS) degrees in Periodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and St. John Health. He is the Associate Director of Graduate Periodontics and Implant Dentistry Specialty Program at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, and the former Director of Periodontics at the Boston Institute for Dental Research and Education in Dubai. Dr. Kinaia is an OKU inductee and a recipient of the prestigious American Academy of Periodontology award for outstanding teaching and mentoring in Periodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Kinaia has numerous publications and book chapters in the field of immediate implant placement, soft-tissue augmentation, and bone grafting for implants. He maintains a private practice in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
