Ernest Luce DDS holds a half-time faculty position in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio School of Dentistry as a Clinical Associate Professor. Initially providing a broad range of general dentisty services after completing a one-year General Practice Reisdency in 1986, his practice and teaching has come to focus on the safe and effective delivery of minimal and moderate sedation, the management of medically complicated patients and the recognition and management of medical emergencies. His private practice is almost exclusively devoted to providing moderate sedation to patients in the San Antonio area.
