Steve D Shufflebarger, DDS has maintained a private practice in Beavercreek, Ohio for 21 years. He has practiced exclusively in surgical and sedation/anesthesia aspects of dentistry and also has a passion for teaching. He has demonstrated this by directing and teaching American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses. Dr. Shufflebarger further co-directs a long-standing series of yearly comprehensive PO and IV sedation training courses sponsored by Miami Valley Hospital Department of Medical Education. He has spoken at numerous conferences on material including but not limited to: physiology, pharmacology, sedation, medical emergencies, airway management, managing, and removing third molars and surgical techniques. Dr. Shufflebarger is a member of the American Dental Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, International Academy of Ceramic Implantology, Ohio Dental Association, Dayton Dental Society, and the American Heart Association Instructor Network.
