Dr. Karen Potter was born and raised in San Clemente, CA, where she has had the honor of providing endodontic care for over 10 years. She attended the University of Southern California, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with degrees in Spanish and Natural Sciences. She then attended the UCLA School of Dentistry and graduated Summa Cum Laude. At UCLA, she spent time in leadership and endodontic research that allowed her to publish multiple articles over the following years. After graduating from UCLA, she attended her Endodontic residency program at the University of Iowa, where she also met her husband, Sean. Her research project in residency regarding the placement of dental implants by endodontists has been published in the JOE and cited frequently. She practiced in Kansas City before moving back home to San Clemente in 2010 and received her Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontists in 2011. Dr. Potter is a busy working mother of 3 who loves to share her passion for Endodontics by lecturing to other Endodontists and General Practitioners.
