Endodontic Resident
West Virginia University
Morgantown, West Virginia
I was always very driven as a child and had a feeling I wanted to be a dentist from a young age. There were no dentists in my family, but I always liked going when I was very young and was interested in the technological and care aspects of the profession. I have focused my professional life and research advancing oral health and saving smiles to maintain confidence. After obtaining my DMD, I took the next step, joining Montefiore for my GPR and Endodontics Fellowship. There I met hundreds of patients and expanded my clinical understanding. My journey has always been to specialize and help people save their teeth, their confidence, and their livelihoods. The most challenging portion of my work was convincing individuals to save their teeth. As many patients sadly wanted to take the cheapest route. Seeing and learning first hand how Endodontics can change the outlook on a patient's health inspires me to be that superhero for saving teeth and improving lives.
