Cindy R. Rauschenberger received a DDS degree from the University of Iowa Dental School in 1987 and her training in endodontics from Northwestern University Dental School in 1989. She became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 1993, served as Undergraduate Endodontic Director, and Post-graduate director of the Endodontic program at the University of Maryland. She has served the AAE as Director (AAE board), Trustee, (AAE foundation), Director (ABE) and several other committee positions. She also has volunteered as a dentist in the Dominican Republic on several occasions, and was actively involved in Endodontic research focusing on pulp biology and guided tissue regeneration studies. Recently she has participated in the PBRN (practice based dental research network) focusing on studies to improve the clinical practice of endodontics and dentistry. She founded Fox Valley Endodontic Specialists in Elgin, IL, in 1999, and is currently serving as Endodontist for the Navajo Nation at TCRCCTuba City, Az.
