Benjamin “Ben” Ricks is a student at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine, anticipated graduation in April 2024. Prior to enrollment at Roseman University, Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a minor in chemistry. Professionally, he worked in operations management and regulatory affairs at Baxter International, and later Shire Pharmaceuticals. He notably interfaced with FDA and European Medicines Agency inspectors across the United States in both routine inspections and directed investigations. Ben’s areas of research include laser irrigation in root canal treatment, voxel size in CBCT endodontic length measurements, and he recently completed a clinic trial in oral probiotic therapy. Some of his other interests include bicycling and alpine skiing with his wife and four daughters, and pursing perfection in fine smoked meats.
