Dr. Rohan Jagtap is a Director of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Care Planning and Restorative Sciences with a dual appointment in the Department of Radiology School of Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Jagtap completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He is the author or co-author of 18 articles in peer-reviewed publications and 20 scientific presentations on national and international platforms. Dr. Jagtap has been invited as a guest speaker to several national and international conferences. He has editorial board and reviewer positions for multiple high-impact peer-reviewed journals. He is recognized as a national leader in the field of Dentistry and Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Jagtap has served on multiple committees and member of the ADA, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and American Dental Education Association, among other professional organizations. He is a fellow of national and international honorary organizations such as Pierre Fauchard Academy, Academy of Dentistry International, and American College of Dentists. Dr. Jagtap currently serves as the only Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist at UMMC and within the state of Mississippi.
