The dentists workforce is changing, including among endodontists. Overall, there is a significant “generational shift” happening within the dental profession, with a large number of baby boomer dentists and a large number of Millennial dentists. As the baby boomers age out into retirement, the dental workforce will get younger. At the same time, more women and diverse applicants are entering the profession. This spells changes for the practice model, including a rapid growth in large group practice.
