There are as many ways to end a clinical endodontic career as there are endodontists. Every practitioner has their unique circumstances and goals for retirement, but there are common strategies that can be employed to attain the outcomes we all desire at the end of our careers. This discussion should help the attendee to tailor their individual professional, clinical, financial, and psychosocial development throughout their careers. Considering some of the unforeseen challenges and opportunities that occur throughout life and discovering the optimum plan for the desired outcome. This presentation should be attended by endodontists at all career stages, from residency through practice transition, to assist in achieving a happier and more fulfilling retirement

Learning Objectives:

Understand how decisions early in their careers can affect the choices that they will have later in life. Be able to adapt consistently proven strategies to optimize their financial health by the time their practice life comes to a close
Consider ways to mitigate risk, should unforeseen life events arise. Decide how to manage challenges to long-term plans such as divorce or disability
Learn about several different ways to transition out of full-time clinical practice
