Endodontic Microsurgery has been shown to be an effective technique for the treatment of teeth with persistent periapical pathology. With the introduction of the dental microscope in the early nineties new techniques and materials were developed. The use of these modern techniques has improved the ergonomics of the treatment. This presentation will focus on the ergonomics of modern Endodontic Microsurgery, with special emphasis on the set-up, the roles of the different members of the dental team and the use modern materials in different clinical scenarios.
