S-21 - Microsuturing and Microsurgical Soft Tissue Management in Endodontics Workshop (Lecture/Hands-On)

Fee: $1,345 (after March 29: $1,495). Full-day workshop. Registration includes didactic lecture and hands-on workshop. Boxed lunch included.


The purpose of the workshop is to teach the skills required to perform basic micro suturing techniques and to review principles of microsurgical soft tissue management in endodontics.

Didactic:
The didactic presentation will review the fundamentals of soft tissue management in microsurgical endodontics. Topics covered will include incision design, flap management, wound closure and tissue healing patterns. Emphasis will be placed on approaches to reducing scar formation and optimizing aesthetic outcomes using microsurgical and microsuturing principles.

Hands-On:
The hands-on portion will demonstrate basic microsurgical knot-tying techniques designed to complement the armamentarium of endodontists interested in refining their surgical skills. Instruction uses powerful graphics and live demonstrations to guide the participants through the technical intricacies of flap incisions and microsuturing.


AAE Workshop Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Refunds for AAE workshops will not be granted, regardless of the circumstance, after April 5, 2023. A no-show occurs if a registrant does not cancel in advance of AND/OR does not show up for their scheduled workshop within 30 minutes of the published start time. If a registrant no-shows, they will forfeit their spot at the workshop and an individual from the waitlist will be given their place.
