Emyli Peralta is a pre-doctoral student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2019 with bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Health Sciences. Emyli's passions include dental public health and pediatric dentistry. Her career goal is to address pediatric patients' barriers to receiving adequate dental healthcare. She has worked alongside Dr. Jacqueline Burgette since 2021 on various research projects addressing oral health disparities in children through health services. Her commitment to the field is demonstrated through her roles as President of the Pitt Student Research Group Chapter, Vice-President of the Pitt AAPD Chapter and Hispanic Student Dental Association Chapter, and Chair of the ASDA Pre-Dental Committee.
