Hello my name is Elise Fernandez, I have my MPH with a concentration in Health Promotion and Behavior and I'm currently working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the Division of Oral Health as an ORISE Fellow! My bachelor's degree was in Biology and was recieved from Georgia State University along with my MPH. While in school for my MPH, I was working as a dental assitant. I'm able to now use my skills as a public health professional and my knowledge with dentistry to help create safer visits to the dental office and provide community efforts that drive health equity.
