Tina Treloar is a dental hygienist and clinical coordinator of Saving Smiles with the University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) Department of Community Dentistry and Behavioral Science. Tina is a Florida native and grew up in a rural community. Tina graduated from Santa Fe College with a certificate in Dental Assisting, AS in Dental Hygiene, BAS in Healthcare Management, and obtained her MPH from the University of Florida in 2017. Tina has worked with children and vulnerable populations since 2014 in the capacity of clinical care, outreach, and research. Tina currently provides preventive dental services for pediatric patients at high-risk for dental disease in Alachua County’s school- and community-based dental outreach programs.
