Kelly Raulerson, RDH is a Clinical Program Coordinator at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry, in Gainesville, FL. She graduated from Santa Fe College with a certificate in Dental Assisting in 1994 and completed the Dental Hygiene Bridge program in 1995. Kelly has seven years’ experience in private practice working in periodontics, and general dental practices, spanning from 1995 – 2002. From 2002 - 2009 she took a break from working to focus on starting a family. In 2009 she took a position at the University of Florida College of Dentistry as a research coordinator and worked four years in the Department of Prosthodontics, the research study was looking for factors influencing the survival of implant supported ceramic in ceramic fixed dentures. In 2013 she began working in the Department of Community Dentistry and Behavioral Science, coordinating their community based programs, which include a 3rd grade dental surveillance, School Based Dental Sealant program, and Head Start program, where she and her team provide services to over 3000 children each year in these programs. Kelly is passionate about prevention and serving the underserved in her community. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
