Yuying Guo is a third-year dental student at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She attended Bryn Mawr College as a STEM Posse Scholar and received her B.A. in Biology. After graduating, Yuying conducted clinical research on mental health disparities with the Disparities Research Unit at the Massachusetts General Hospital. At Harvard School of Dental Medicine, she is interested in understanding how social determinants of health impact oral health and how the oral health care system can address oral health disparities and inequities. She is also interested in exploring and incorporating environmental sustainability practices in the dental profession. Yuying hopes to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry and dental public health.
