Alaina White, MPH is the Oral Health & Asthma Epidemiologist at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Alaina earned her Master of Public Health in Global Health Epidemiology from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in spring of 2022. As the Oral Health & Asthma Epidemiologist, Alaina analyzes various health datasets, such as data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Survey (BRFS) and the Michigan Inpatient Database (MIDB), to determine the populations and geographic areas of high burden in Michigan. Additionally, Alaina works on the school-based dental sealant program, community water fluoridation, oral health utilization of pregnant people, Medicaid dental claims, and HIV dental utilization.
