Richard Crout, DMD, PhD is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Periodontics, West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He received a DMD in Dental Medicine and PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Before his retirement, he was Professor of Pharmacology at the West Virginia University School of Medicine and Professor of Periodontics and Associate Dean for Research at the School of Dentistry.
