I am Dr Jagan Kumar Baskaradoss, BDS, MPH, ABDPH, Assistant Professor, Department of Developmental and Preventive Sciences, College of Dentistry, Kuwait University. I received my dental degree in 2005 and completed his Masters in Public Health in 2009 from India. I further pursued specialty training in Dental Public Health at Case Western Reserve University, USA and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health (ABDPH) in 2016. I have also received his postgraduate diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties, from the Royal College of Surgeons, England (MJDF RCS Eng) and Fellowship from the Faculty of General Dental (FFGDP) Practice, UK.
I have over 15 years of experience in leading and conducting collaborative research with various international groups. I have published more than 50 manuscripts in various high impact dental journals. My works have received over 1050 citations. I have received several international awards in recognition of his works. In 2015 I was awarded the prestigious “Oral health research award” from the International Association of Dental Research (IADR). I have authored a book on "Dental Research - Principles and Methodology" and have also authored a chapter in the 7th edition of Burt and Eklund’s Textbook - "Dentistry, Dental Practice and the Community"."
