Luis Barrientos is a second-year medical student affiliated with The University of Colorado School of Medicine. Luis received his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the College of Natural Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to his academic pursuits, Luis has been actively involved in various clinical and educational activities. He was selected to participate in the CU Oncology Summer Internship, where he gained valuable experience working in medical oncology, research, and patient advocacy. His current project focuses on improving patient outcomes in vaccination administration during dental visits.
