Description: Grants are an essential resource that support organizations to achieve better outcomes. A good grant application begins at the development and planning stages. Writing an engaging application that addresses the grant requirements and includes innovative solutions leads to better program performance. Understanding the essence of grant writing helps develop practical responses.
During this roundtable, attendees will understand the components of an application; the logic model, SMART goals, data sources, the importance of program language, cross-collaboration, and communication strategies. The presenters will discuss key concepts in developing grant applications, such as leveraging national, state, and local resources to strengthen and maximize proposed impact and outcomes.
