Description: The Perinatal Oral Health Initiative with the MDHHS Oral Health Program is pleased to share a new, interactive data dashboard and methodology to measure utilization of dental services for pregnant people on Medicaid in Michigan. The dashboard measures utilization of dental care during pregnancy, including preventive and restorative care and examines utilization by race and geographic regions. This first of its kind data analysis is serving as a model and framework for a national dental quality measure with the Dental Quality Alliance. Join us for an interactive roundtable exploring our dashboard data, pre-Covid and post-Covid trends, health inequities and geographic considerations. Attendees will learn the process of developing this dashboard as well as challenges and strategies to develop similar tools in their own states.
