CDR Patrick Neubert, US Public Health Service, serves as the Opioid Rapid Response Coordinator for HHS-OIG. In this role, he mitigates negative impacts of clinic closures due to law enforcement actions on controlled substance providers, ensuring patients are provided continuity of care.
Previously, he worked for nine years within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in the Center for Program Integrity focusing on Medicare fraud analytics. CDR Neubert is a recognized expert in Medicare claims analysis and policy. In his last position at CMS, he served as the Acting Director of the Division of Provider Investigations and Audits.
CDR Neubert served on multiple public health deployments including on the COVID-19 surge, influx of unaccompanied children, and Operation Allies Welcome. He holds a MSPH from Emory University and a MSSA from Case Western Reserve University.
