Assistant Director
New Hampshire Governor's Recovery Friendly Workplace Initiative
Concord, NH
Samantha Lewandowski holds a Master of Science in Community Development & Applied Economics from the University of Vermont, with an additional background in sociology and anthropology, and is also a trained Recovery Coach. She first began working with individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) back in 2013 through a residential harm reduction program. Presently, she is the Assistant Program Director of the New Hampshire Governor's Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW) initiative, which seeks to create stronger workplaces and communities by challenging the stigma around SUD and empowering workplaces to support employees in recovery. As Assistant Director, Samantha is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the initiative, including overseeing staff, ensuring workplaces are supported in the RFW process, and promoting effective collaboration with partners. She hopes that through this work, stigma can be challenged and barriers reduced so that those who have been impacted by SUD can access the support they deserve.
