Dr. Marks serves the Project Director for the Kentucky Opioid Response Effort (KORE) within the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. The purpose of the SAMHSA-funded State Opioid Response grants are to increase equitable access to high quality, evidence-based prevention, treatment, and recovery support services throughout the Commonwealth. Dr. Marks is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Science at the University of Kentucky where she is a Co-Investigator on the HEALing Communities and J-COIN studies. Her research focuses on opioid use disorder policy and implementation of evidence-based interventions into community systems. Dr. Marks received a doctorate in Experimental Psychology from the University of Kentucky.
