LeShaundra Cordier, MPH, CHES, is the Director, Communications Strategy at Brunet-García, a leading national social impact marketing communications firm. She is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of communications programs and campaigns in collaboration with private, public, and nonprofit clients. Formerly the Associate Director for Communications for CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control’s Division of Overdose Prevention (DOP), Ms. Cordier provided guidance on health communication and marketing activities for drug overdose and related injury topics for several years. Having served as a federal health communicator for nearly 15 years, she previously worked at CDC’s National Center for Environmental Health and Center for Preparedness and Response on a variety of health issues, emerging threats, and risk communication. Ms. Cordier has a Master of Public Health degree with a specialization in maternal and child health from the University of Georgia.
