Andrea Strahan is a health scientist with the Applied Research, Evaluation, and Integration team in the Division of Overdose Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her research focuses on identifying and evaluating public health strategies and interventions at the federal, state, and health systems level that may impact high-risk prescribing and overdose prevention in the United States. Dr. Strahan received her Ph.D. in Health Services Research from Emory University and her Masters of Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
