Nathan Wood is an epidemiologist with the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy. He began working as the Controlled Substance Monitoring Program (CSMP) Epidemiologist in February 2017. As the lead epidemiologist of the data analytics team, he works to ensure accurate data quality, analysis, sharing and to inform the states response to the opioid epidemic. Prior to working with the Board of Pharmacy, Nathan worked as the PRAMS Coordinator/Epidemiologist with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Office of Maternal, Child, and Family Health. He graduated with a Master of Public Health from the University of Utah in May 2014.
