Richa Ranade, MPH, Senior Director, Overdose Prevention leads ASTHO’s overdose prevention and surveillance efforts. Ms. Ranade oversees the development of capacity building and technical assistance to state and territorial health agencies in the areas of overdose prevention, opioid preparedness, overdose mortality surveillance, and EMS overdose response. She completed a masters of public health at the George Washington University and bachelor of science degree at the Pennsylvania State University. Ms. Ranade has over ten years of experience in public health research, program implementation, capacity building, and technical assistance.
