New Jersey State Police
West Trenton, New Jersey
Kevin has been a New Jersey State Trooper for 16 years. Kevin began his career as a Trooper at general road stations in North Jersey, including Newark Station on the New Jersey Turnpike. Kevin was then selected to the Governor’s Security Unit where he served for 7 years on Governor Chris Christie’s Protection Detail. During this time, Kevin served on protective operations teams at numerous events, including the Super Bowl, MLB World Series, MLB All Star Game, Stanley Cup Playoffs, NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, numerous concerts, and the Governor’s 2016 presidential campaign. Following that assignment, Kevin was appointed as a detective to the Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) in Newark. The RTCC focuses on violent recidivist offenders, collects data on shooting-hit and shooting-murder incidents, and produces strategic intelligence products supporting shooting investigations in the North Jersey region. In 2018, Kevin was assigned to the Drug Monitoring Initiative at the Regional Operations & Intelligence Center. This initiative established an intelligence capacity to support law enforcement and public health experts in better understanding trends, implications, and threats from illicit drug activity that has an impact on their jurisdictions. During this time Kevin supported a multitude of narcotics related investigations and provided situational awareness on all narcotics related activities.
