Jessica Youngblom is a Licensed Master Social Worker who currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. In this capacity she oversees several projects including the Tennessee Recovery Navigators, Project Rural Recovery, ED Boarding Protocol Recommendations along with several others, all with the goal of finding new and innovative ways to serve Tennesseans who are most in need when it comes to Mental Health and Substance Use Services.
Jessica joined the State of Tennessee in October 2019 after working for Nashville-Davidson County’s Metro Homeless Impact Division. During her time with the Metro Homeless Impact Division, she helped create the infrastructure for the system that identifies and connects those experiencing homelessness to housing, including Veterans, Individuals, Families and Youth.
Jessica graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a Bachelors in Sociology and the University of Southern California with a Masters in Social Work.
