Dianne has worked for West TN Healthcare Foundation as part of the Lifeline Peer Project Grant and State Opioid Response (SOR) Grant since September 2017. In July 2019, she formed a team of Recovery Navigators to serve 8 local and rural hospital Emergency Departments throughout West Tennessee to provide resources and treatment options for individuals who present with overdose or substance misuse. Dianne and her team are there to offer detox, treatment and recovery resources to individuals to help them find their own path to recovery. As a Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist, Dianne facilitates Narcan administration trainings for law enforcement, first responders and community agencies. She also delivers Narcan to individuals and families who are considered to be high risk for overdose. She is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) trainer and facilitates CPRS trainings across the state. CPRS’s are individuals with lived experience who provide direct peer-to-peer support services for those who have substance misuse and/or co-occurring disorders. Dianne has devoted her career to meeting people where they are and supporting them in their journey of recovery.
