Delesha Carpenter is an Associate Professor and Interim Chair of the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her educational background includes clinical training in respiratory therapy and public health. She has more than 15 years of experience conducting patient-provider communication research. Two of her current projects focus on improving naloxone and buprenorphine access in rural community pharmacies. She has authored more than 120 peer-reviewed publications and her funding portfolio includes projects supported by government agencies, private foundations, and industry.
