MSN Nurse.Hematology Department / Associate Profesor
Hospital Clinico Universitario de Valencia. INCLIVA. Biomedial Research Institute./ Nursing Department. University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain.
My name is Juan Ramón de Moya Romero, nurse of the Hemostasis Unit of the University Clinical Hospital of Valencia, Master in Nursing Sciences, associate professor at the University of Valencia and member of the Spanish Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (SETH), Spanish Association of Cardiological Nursing (AEEC) and ISTH.
I have currently been practicing as a nurse for eighteen years and as a hemostasis nurse fourteen years, mainly in care of the anticoagulated patient.
In this time, I have collaborated in various clinical trials and research work focused on thrombosis and anticoagulant therapy.
I have presented several papers in different congresses on adherence to anticoagulant treatment, quality of life in the anticoagulated patient and self-control programs with coumarins.
As a university professor I have tutored several Bachellor nursing degree works based on care and education for anticoagulated patients.
I present this work as a student of the doctoral program in clinical and community nursing at the University of Valencia.
As the first author, I currently have three book chapters on anticoagulant therapy.
As a first-timer at ISTH, I would like to meet professionals with the same concerns for future collaborations.
