The Royal London Hospital Haemophilia Centre, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry
Dan Hart is a consultant haematologist and director of The Royal London Hospital Haemophilia centre. He is a haematology and immunobiology senior lecturer at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry with a specialist interest in FVIII inhibitor science.
The Royal London haemophilia team look after a large and diverse population living with inherited and acquired bleeding disorders. Dan has been United Kingdom Haemophilia Centre Doctors' organisation (UKHCDO) Inhibitor working party chair, now continuing as a member, with oversight of the UK’s experience and guidance for treatment of Acquired Haemophilia.
Dan is secretary to the EAHAD executive committee and contributes to the medical and scientific advisory group for the European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) and World Federation of Haemophilia (WFH) committee for clotting product safety, supply and access. He also chairs the WFH Haemophilia Treatment Centre Twinning committee and is a founding member of the British Society of Haematology Global Haematology special interest group. He is currently the UK national haematology speciality lead for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) clinical research network.
