Dr Julia Czuprynska, BSc (Hons), MBBS, MRCP, FRCPath is a Consultant Haematologist with a specialist interest in Thrombosis & Haemostasis. She works as part of the Thrombosis Team at King's College Hospital NHS Trust in London. She received her medical degree from St George's Hospital Medical School in London and completed a BSc in Physiology & Pharmacology at University College London. She moved to the South West of England to undertake specialist haematology training during which time she also spent a year in Christchurch, New Zealand, working as a senior haematology registrar. Clinical and research interests include thrombosis in multiple myeloma, the use of platelet function tests to individualise antiplatelet therapy, heparin-induced thrombosis, and thromboprophylaxis in lower-limb immobilisation.
