Dr. Tatsiana Talako is a hematologist and an investigator in inherited and acquired coagulapathies and thrombophilias. She treats patients with oncohematological diseases, with bleeding disorders and thrombosis, determine risk of thrombosis/bleeding and provide control for anticoagulation and hemostatic therapy. Dr. Tatsiana Talako defended her PhD theses on the issue of «Antiphospholipid syndrome: clinical and immunological characteristic, thrombotic risk factors» in Belarusian State Medical University, Minsk.
As a member of doctor’s team, providing diagnosis and treatment for patients with hemostasiopathies at Republic Consultive Unit at Department of Hematology №4, Minsk Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology big part of her work is devoted to patients with bleeding disorders, disseminated intravascular coagulation, thrombophilias and antiphospholipid syndrome in particular, thrombocytopenia and thrombocytopathy. Dr. Tatsiana Talako uses her knowledge on mechanisms of thrombus formation to identify risk factors and to individualized hemostatic treatment approach.
