Aurélie Leroyer, PhD, Associate Professor, Aix-Marseille University, Inserm, Center for Cardiovascular Research and Nutrition.
I obtained my PhD in cardiovascular physiology from the University of Paris VII in 2007 (Dr Tedgui’s laboratory, and Dr Chantal Boulanger as a thesis supervisor). I then joined Dr Eichmann’s laboratory from College de France as post-doctoral research fellow from 2007 to 2009. I started my independent research career in 2010 as an associate professor at Aix-Marseille University in Pr Dignat-George’s laboratory. I have developed my own research topics focused on the adhesion molecule CD146 and its role in cardiovascular diseases.
