My name is Dr Farzana Haque. I am a medical oncology trainee of Yorkshire and Humber Deanery. Following core medical training, I started specialty medical oncology training in Yorkshire and Humber Deanery and completed ST4(Specialty training). I am currently out of the programme for research (OOPR), undertaking a Ph.D. I work as a clinical research fellow in HYMS/University of Hull, Department of Life Science and in HUTH NHS trust as an honorary registrar.
My research area is pancreatic cancer and cancer-associated thrombosis, and I am working on the research project TEM-PAC. I am enthusiastic about teaching and committed to furthering my career in research to combine medical doctors' clinical skills and knowledge with scientists' deep knowledge and expertise in scientific methodology.
