Kateryna Moiko, BSc, Department of Cardiology, Democritus University of Thrace, Greece.
I hold a BSc degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. In the year 2018, I started working, as an undergraduate student, on a research project in the atheroslerosis laboratory of the Department of Cardiology in our University hospital. My project, which is also the thesis of my degree, focused on the contribution of erythrocyte components to the progression of calcification and atherosclerosis. Since my graduation in early 2022, I have been continuing my research work pursuing the aim to be admitted as PhD candidate.
